Ford was wanting to promote their new EcoBoost engine, a new technology they had developed that could allow the Falcon to drive faster (Boost) without sacrificing the fuel economy (Eco). They wanted to promote this new technology to a younger generation. The goal was to get that new technology information across, while promoting the cars in a modern and appealing way.
